For Better Or For Worse
She's married to corruption
I wonder if she'll see redemption
Her aura full of attraction
Yet she fell prey to temptation
She was so naive and young
When he came to her
Sweet scent and song
She didn't see the hidden danger
Concealed by his charming face
If she had carefully observed the stranger
She would have seen that he was danger
His mind full of deceitful love
In his eyes lay the definition of evil
She should have seen he was the devil
Doesn't she know his history?
How he put lovers in misery?
If ever the pain is eased
There must be an irremovable scar
She accepted him whole
Embraced him with an open soul
Ignorant of his vices
He paid her back by grinding her heart
Instead of caress, a thorny scrub
Brought her from the light to the dark
Made an ugly mockery of a true beauty
I wonder if she'll ever be free
I lose hope whenever I see her
I wonder if she'll ever file a divorce
Or is this marriage for better or worse?
